The Ribs Arusha

Came here with the kids, great outside seating area in the courtyard, very chilled away from the street bustle. The place is up a dirt road away from the main road so you just need to get to the end of the dirt road leading up the hill and the place is right there just to the right. Food was great but we did have to wait for an has it was the weekend and they were catering a big party. They didn’t mention the long wait upfront to us and since it is a bbq place we had expected the order to pretty much be ready already but that wasn’t the case so maybe ask about the waiting time upfront. We paid for rabbit, pork and pork in a vegetable sauce and fries almost TZS 85000 which we thought was pretty steep as we paid half that for almost the same amount of food elsewhere but perhaps it’s also the nice seating area you are paying for. A nice place all in all that we recommend you visit

DO NOT SKIP THIS PLACE! For 3 people the meal was 30$USD. We gladly gave him 60$USD I'm a HUGE meat eater and this guy's pork ribs beats any that Ive ever had in America. I will stop and eat here again EVERYTIME I come to Africa. SIMPLY PHENOMENAL.

This is the second time I come and the ribs, chicken and sausage are excellent. Well seasoned and grilled to perfection. Will definitely come back. A must for meat lovers!!

Went there at night(8pm) & for a moment thought we were lost because the place was empty. A waitress came to welcome us & took our order. It took about 40mins for our food to be ready(I suggest you maybe call ahead & place your order to minimize waiting time). The ribs were tasty & juicy. We enjoyed the food & I definitely recommend you try it This is now my go to spot for barbeque Pork ribs/chops in Arusha. The place itself isn't much in terms of eating in(few places to sit by the garden & a mini bar you can order drinks from) but the food is definitely worth it so maybe just call them, place your order & they can get it delivered to your place of choice where you can enjoy some mouth watering bbq pork

I always enjoy pork ribs but today I tried having sungura makange ( grilled rabbit meat) and I rate it 9/10. The environment is so calm if you hate noisy surroundings. So this is a place to be while in Arusha.

First time trying Tanzanian food and everything was perfection The prok ribs are from hybrid pigs that are not as fatty as your usual pig The wine is one of the best I've ever had Fried bananas are more delicious than I anticipated And my first time trying Ugali was memorable

I couldn't recommend this place more. The menu is given on arrival and the prices are clear and fair. The food is amazing and the waitress is lovely and really went out of her way to make me feel welcome. I felt very safe here as a solo female traveller and returned later on my trip.

Found this place on Insta and had my driver find it, I wasn't disappointed. The food was hot and fresh cooked on the outdoor grill, favorite was the chicken and fish but the ribs were tasty as well. The service was fantastic and the seating area was great, protected from the sun, yet outdoors close to the grill so you could enjoy the smells of everything being prepared, worth the stop!
